Move with zero gravity
The Pura assists you by removing gravity. When your arm is weightless you can use your remaining strength to do all kind of movements yourself again.
The internal mechanism of the Pura does not require electricity. You manually adjust it to the right level of weight compensation and independence is at your grasp. The large working range makes it possible to reach from your knee to above your head.
Tailor made solution
We have designed the Pura with minimum friction so the movements can be made smooth and naturally. Due to the slim design it is possible to use it for both arms.
During an assessment we can choose between different accessories and options to make sure you get the most functionality out of your arm support. If necessary, we will provide you with a tailor made solution to achieve this. This is our standard.

Being able to do simple things again, like controlling the remote, is priceless.
Coby explains the added value of her ‘helparm’ the Pura.
When you have a progressive disease, you gradually lose more functionality over the years. Movements which used to be normal are suddenly impossible. When my OT told me about the Pura I was sceptical at first. Could a product give me my independence back? Now that I have it, I am so happy with my ‘helparm’ and can’t do without. I can’t explain how valuable it is to do simple things by yourself again. Scratching my nose, controlling the remote, waving at people, playing with my grandchildren. It’s priceless.

Arm supports and exoskeletons are devices that contribute to the free movement of the arms. The difference is that an arm support is not fully fixed to the body, but rather attached to a bracket on a stand, chair or wheelchair.
A dynamic arm support is an assistive technology product which helps people with limited arm and shoulder function, to move their arms and hands freely (again), and therefore make it possible to conduct all kinds of daily activities.
The installation of the Pura should only be done by qualified and trained specialists. These Armon dealers will receive a certificate after completing the training. To guarantee the quality of the installation of the Pura and the individual brackets, annual training takes place to ensure correct use and complete safety for the user.
